1992 Toyota Celica

I am the second owner of this 5th gen Celica. Was purchased in 1999 with 56,000 miles on the clock. As we all know, the aftermarket has zero support for this car so I had to make it myself. I do all the work on it myself, from the alignment to clutch& timming belts. It now has 187,000 miles. The front spliter is made from 2, 1/4 in. thick ABS plastic. It is attached to the car using the stock mounting bolts to hold the nose on. It is very much felt at speeds starting at 50 MPH. the rear wing is the only item that I didn’t make, but I did put on the flap to put more downforce on the back. The suspention is H&R springs with KYB struts. Tires & wheels are 225/40/16 on 16x7 rims. The rear sway bar is now from a 1992 convertible (Larger Dia.) The exhaust is 2&1/4 dia. off a magnaflow cat into a S.S. flowmaster knock off (made in Texas) with two 2in. outlets. I used two freeze plugs with the right number & size to control the back preasure & DBs. The plugs are press fit & work great. I make my own shift knobs & had to fix the long throws between gears so I cut approx. 5 in. off the shaft re-thread the shaft then bent the shaft to the left approx. 3 in. to bring the shifter to a more comfortable location. I am now painting the car a dark BRG.
