Fuel Injection
Wow, It's been a few years since I posted here. Just completed a port fuel injection conversion using an australian head and Megasquirt. Still figuring out how to tune, but amazingly it works. Pictures to follow.
Started on July 5 by Sprintsix
'63 Falcon convertible with a built 200cid six cylinder with a hot(ish) cam, ported, big valve Australian head modified for port fuel injection, dual out header with dual exhaust, direct fire wasted spark coil pack. This is mated to a c-4 with a street/strip TC and an 8" geared 3.25.
Suspension is uprated with mild performance front springs, spherical strut rods, big swaybars, relocated front upper arms, roller bearings throughout the front, and 16x7 superlites with 205/55 khumo ecsta tires. Steering is 65 stang V-8 with a roller idler arm and a Borgeson integral power steering box. Brakes are granada disks in front, Maverick drums rear (on Maverick 8").
Seats are chrysler sebring with integral seatbelts.
Kind of a Frankencar with a '63 body, '69 engine, '74 trans, '74 brakes, 2000 seats, and 2016 ECU (Megasquirt).

I made a blog/vlog chronicling my restomodification. Here you go: http://falconfanatic.blogspot.com/
Been thinking about an FI upgrade and it looks like this CFI unit would be an easy install.
Gotta squeeze as much valve as you can in there.
Balanced, 264/274 cam, roller rockers, 10:1, ported head with 1.75/1.5 valves and manifold modified for direct mount of 38/38 weber.
The Falcon right before teardown.
