Rallycross time!

After finishing the install of the Tokico D-Spec struts, STi wagon Pink springs, Group N strut top hats, Jackson Rally 1” spacers, and Whiteline lateral link bushings, and Rally Armor front skidplate, I was able hit the last points rallycross of the season for the NC area on November 21st. The suspension proved to be outstanding on pavement, and my high expectations on dirt were rewarded with great results.

The D-Specs seem to be the perfect choice for the dual-purpose daily driver/rallycross beast desires I have for the car. I’m so impressed with the adjustment and performance of the struts so far that I’m using the WRX for an autocross in December in place of my not-yet-ready turbo Miata.

All together, the suspension works as well as I could have hoped. With the great struts, the moderate drop and slightly increased rate from the springs, and the lift and corresponding clearance necessary for the rally tires from the spacers, I feel like I have the perfect suspension. It’s a satisfying feeling.
