Back At It

It’s been awhile w/out an update, and Christmas actually came a bit early this year. Sometimes it seems like all I do is wait for parts - this time, patience really paid off. First up was a Prodbodies fiberglass hood, which arrived thankfully intact in late November after a nerve-wracking trip across the country. It’s real thin race stuff - how suitable it’ll be for street use is anyone’s guess, but I’m gonna give it a shot. Quality & finish is exceptional. Next up is some T2024 aluminum aircraft surplus 1/2” x 1 1/2” bolts to replace the “non critical” steel OEM bumper bolts. Snagged these four off EBay for about $6 - with shipping! The OEM bolts were .15 lbs each…these are .05 lbs each. If only all mods were that easy… Lastly, a stainless Crossflow header from 105 Speed in England also arrived last month. I’ll try & get some pictures up in a few days…it may be the only one of it’s kind in the country. Here’s hoping it works as well as it looks… :)
