The BMW 318is came with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder, designated as the M42. After cleaning and inspecting our new purchase, it seemed that the engine was really the only major issue with the car.

Tom O'Gorman's career behind the wheel has seen one success after another. But he’s spending the beginning of his 2020 season on the sidelines after facing one of the harsh realities of professional racing: There are only so many seats.
