There may have been a few shoddy-built kart-like vehicles featured in the news recently, but this is not one of them. That doesn’t make it any less extreme. John Morton, the grand marshal of the 2018 Classic Motorsports Mitty presented by Hagerty, strapped into his Datsun 240Z racer for the event’s Nissan-only feature race. He drove the iconic BRE Datsun 240Z to two SCCA Runoffs wins in 1970 and ‘71, and he hasn’t slowed down a bit.

Georgia Tech Wreck Racing dominated the autocross portion of the Grassroots Motorsports $2017 Challenge by more than a second in their Subaru-powered Honda Insight. This was not their fastest run of the day, but it gives you an idea of the car’s performance.
