Amazingly, this G.I. Joe-inspired Challenge entry was built in just 48 hours in a parking lot. Going from a stock 1997 Pontiac Firebird to the caged, painted car you see staging in the left lane. Their top time was a 13.965 in the quarter mile, staged against Team Fraulein Rust with their 1974 BMW 2002.
What on earth is a Justang? If you watch our GRM Live! show, you already know. Subaru nuts at Circuit Motorsports swapped Mustang Cobra parts into this Subaru Justy and competed at our $2016 Challenge. Their best drag time was a 14.496, screaming through the lights with Ford V8 fury. The swap did wonders for handling, as they also placed first in the autocross segment, beating the competition by 0.8 seconds.
Ride along during the 2015 UTCC as our own J.G. Pasterjak takes on The Esses in our project Ultimate Track Camaro. He logged a best time of 2:12.336 around VIRginia International Raceway in this red-hot ride.
Our editor Tom spent some time testing our project RallyCross Ford SVT Focus out at Sebring International Raceway.
Onboard footage from our Lotus test day at The FIRM from the April 2017 issue, which compared Elise’s and Exige’s from stock to race-worthy.
We ran our B Spec project Ford Fiesta at local Ocala GP track to dial it in for a life of autocross and road racing.
In this session we discovered the handling limits of a Scion FR-S just after its release.
