Video: How To Disassemble a Project Car (Correctly)

https://www.youtube.com/embed/xEafrUaFLtI

Picture this: You just dragged your latest project car into your garage. In your excitement, you put on your gloves and dive in headfirst, ripping apart ever nut, bolt, gasket and seal in sight. This approach, however, can lead to some issues later on—especially when you are ready to put everything back together again.

In order to make sure you attack that project car on the right foot, here is how we disassemble ours so we can avoid any unnecessary headaches. GRM Publisher Tim Suddard, who has restored dozens of cars, will lead today's class. Presented by CRC Industries.

I have friends who laugh, but a new to me rolling box (which doesn't have to be huge) several boxes of ziplock bags and a label maker are paramount to what I set aside first prior to tearing down. Each component down to a control arm gets its own bag for its hardware labeled and sealed.
