Video: Using Race Ramps To Change the Oil on a Lowered Car

https://www.youtube.com/embed/En4vfKoV2mw

We have two things going on here:

1. Learn how to perform an oil change on an E46-chassis BMW M3. Figure this is out there for those new owners: What are the steps, and what oil to use.

2. Watch our first test drive across a set of Race Ramps. Do they make it easier to work on a lowered car? Could this help those without access to a lift?

The subject is our 2004 BMW M3, and as an added bonus, enjoy nearly 11 minutes of J.G. Presented by CRC Industries.

Let's just say that I predict our set getting plenty of use.

I find that modern cars are getting more and more difficult to find a jacking point >and< a place for the jack stand where the jack and jack stand don't interfere with each other.  I've started using ramps as jack stands, rather than actually driving up them.  That way I don't need the jack stands.
