I can agree with this. Well, pretty much anyone at a GL event. The real fun happens in Time Attack Group C.

I did a track battle event when they came to the west coast and it was awesome.    They finally returned a few years later and said it was going to be another track battle but it wasn't.  I was super bummed.  I had wrangled about 5 other guys to go do this track battle but had to break the news to them that it was just a time attack. 

And I think you'll be seeing more of Tom on our YouTube channel.

Yeah they haven't run the battle format in a couple years...Its awesome but a big time block of the weekend taken up. There is regular talk of it coming back because it makes for a good spectator show at tracks that that have good viewing.

Yeah, bracket battles have been gone for a while, like Gundam said, they're a HUGE time killer, and any space they took in the schedule went to GLTC.

This year at Willow HPDE and TA were bigger than before so more sessions needed along with trying to maximize track time with the weekend split into 2 days.
