This is exactly the kind of thing that I want to do: Drive like the dickens up curvy mountain roads and do it legally and safely! I don't know if I can finish my car in time for the event, but I would love to go an watch if possible. :)

The hillclimb consists of a 2-mile, 10-turn layout that features an elevation gain of 650 feet. Since it takes place at a resort–Pine Mountain Resort Park, to be specific–it offers guest lodging and cabins as well as a full restaurant and catering services on site.
Register before April 12 and get a discounted entry fee. To do so, click here.

From Brad Gates on Facebook: "83 of 90 spots filled in the first 4 hours. Don't think about it for too long."
As far as spectators go, there is really only a couple spots to watch from, and unless you watch from the starting line you are pretty much stuck where you are for a while. It's an awesome event and anyone that can get there should go.
