Here's a sampling of what we beat in the little CRX:

Looking for a road trip idea? How about driving 3500 miles in seven days, stopping at multiple race venues along the way and attempting to set the fastest possible time at each?
That’s pretty much the entire premise of the Tire Rack One Lap of America Presented by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine.
For 2024, we had the unique opportunity to be a fly on the wall and deliver real-time updates as GRM Publisher Tom Suddard joined GRM contributor and tire tester Andy Hollis in the famed One Lap CRX running Yokohama's sticky ADVAN A052 tires.
The SCCA also competed this year, fielding an S197 Ford Mustang modified to meet the new Mustang Club Spec class.
In the end, Andy and Tom finished 11th overall and first in economy class, with the SCCA nabbing a 39th place overall finish and seventh in class.
At the pointy end of the field, the event became a two-car battle between Team PGR in a highly-modified Tesla Model S Plaid and Team Goodyear in a 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S. Congratulations to Team Goodyear, who cemented their victory on the final day of the event by besting the Tesla in the dry skidpad competition.
