If you’re looking for an old-school BMW ready for a track day, this 1975 BMW 2002 might be right up your alley.
The laundry list of modifications done to this 2002 include a rear-seat delete, a roll bar, an Ireland Engineering big brake kit with four-piston calipers and vented front rotors, Ireland Engineering coil-overs with Bilstein dampers, Ireland Engineering front and rear adjustable sway bars, rear subframe polyurethane inserts, a Momo race seat, and 13x8 Compomotive wheels with 205/65R13 Toyo Proxes tires.
The M10 2.0-liter four-cylinder had some work done to it as well. It contains a 292 camshaft with stainless steel valves, JE pistons, H-beam connecting rods, ARP head studs, oil pan baffle, an dual Weber 45DCOE sidedraft carbs. The rest of the powertrain includes Electromotive distributor-less ignition, 228mm clutch disc, E30 M3 pressure plate, lightened flywheel, and a 3.91 limited slip.
