2024 Trueno Edition GR86
Until Toyota offers an officially licensed Initial D GR86, the brand-new Trueno Edition is the next best thing.
Not unlike the Hakone Edition offered a few years ago, the Trueno Edition GR86 is a limited-edition throwback intended to celebrate 40 years since the launch of the AE86 Corolla.
Only 860 examples will be made, each one painted in your choice of Halo (white) or Track bRed (red) and finished with a black hood and side panel graphics. Each car will also be fitted with a Trueno Edition badge on the front bumper lip and rear decklid.
The Trueno Edition does not receive any more horsepower but does get Performance Package ZF Sachs Dampers and upgraded brakes that consists of four-piston front and two-piston rear Brembo calipers standard.
The fun doesn’t end there, however, as Toyota also announced that this Performance Package is available not just for new 2024 GR86 models, but will also be available “for any GR86 from the 2022 or 2023 model years” fitted with 18-inch wheels.
Toyota’s Active Safety Suite (pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, sway warning, lead vehicle start alert and high beam assist), which was only available on GR86 models equipped with the automatic transmission, has also been made standard on manual-transmission model as well.
Toyota says the Trueno Edition GR86 will be available “in limited quantities this coming winter.” As far as how much it’ll cost, we won’t know any official numbers until the MSRP is shared “later this year.”
2024 GR Supra 45th Anniversary Edition
The very first Toyota to carry a Supra badge, the 1979 Celica Supra, debuted 45 years ago. To celebrate, Toyota Gazoo Racing is offering a 45th Anniversary Edition.
Available in both manual and automatic models, only 900 examples of the 45th Anniversary Edition will be produced, split evenly between your choice of Mikan Blast (orange) or Absolute Zero (white).
Based on the 3.0 Premium Supra, special equipment exclusive to the 45th Anniversary Edition meant to bring “a touch of nostalgia and flair” include a manually adjustable rear spoiler, matte-black wheels and side panel graphics with a Supra logo cutout.
Look for the 45th Anniversary GR Supra to arrive at Toyota dealerships “in the fall of 2023.” Price? Toyota says that will be “shared at a later date.”
2024 GR Corolla Circuit Edition
The Circuit Edition GR Corolla returns for 2024, this time available with a new colorway, Blue Flame (blue).
Just like its previous run, the Circuit Edition adds a forged carbon roof, rear spoiler, and suede and synthetic leather-trimmed seats not found on the Core GR Corolla. A JBL audio system comes standard.
Toyota also notes changes to the chassis for 2024:
Ever the perfectionists, the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing engineering team continues to pay attention to the smallest details with material updates to the chassis and tweaking of a front aeroduct for 2024. Material updates include mounting bolt changes to the steering gear, rear suspension, and battery ground. Aero updates include an addition of aluminum sheets to the front and rear bumpers, and a change in duct shape to the front bumper airflow outlet.
Expect to see the next run of Circuit Edition GR Corollas arriving at dealerships “this coming winter,” with prices set to be announced “at a later date.”

Whenever I see these announcements they always end up being Jap exclusives. I think i've only been surprised when it's come to Toyota though with the GR Corolla actually giving us the special edition of that car so maybe i'll end up being surprised again.

I was hoping to find a confirmation of "we are selling these in the U.S.," but it certainly seems like Toyota plans to sell these in the United States with how the press releases are worded. I'll be sure to offer updates as soon as I get them.
I understand why Toyota can't actually say it, but I'm pretty sure that the lines "GR Supra 45th Anniversary Edition Pays Tribute to Custom MkIV Supra" and "As an ode to the 1990’s models," Toyota is referring to this MkIV Supra:

You know what be newsworthy? Nissan announcing they might actually build a few base model, stick shift cars and you can get one.

I was waffling a bit on buying a Circuit GR Corolla, but I think the mounting bolt change for the battery ground might be enough to sway me!
I own a GR86 and have thought at times that it might need some kind of accent on the side. But, those stripes on that white one just doesn't do it for me.
