Self-described as a “perpetual Challenge car build,” forum user DeadSkunk’s $2000 Challenge Corolla might just be anything but.
Sure, it may have the body of a ’72 Corolla SR5, but underneath that veneer sits a tube-frame chassis with an LS V8 heart. A custom suspension setup from a Miata and wide wheels finishes out the package.

Oooo!....I've made the big leagues ......now I'll actually have to make some progress on it.......retirement wasn't supposed to be this stressful.
This is just LOL and I mean that in the best way possible. Holy carp I want to drive this thing. I can't even begin to imagine the level of fun here.
As someone who has seen it in person, you all will never have the opportunity to see some of the attention to detail. Warren is so ridiculously humble that he has a hard time seeing someone standing there gawking slack jawed with awe.
Just be sure to tell us when it will be at the Challenge so we can all watch.
