The perfect color for a ’79 Scout II? Brown, of course.

Sure, it’s not a diesel-powered station wagon with a manual transmission, but this 1979 International Harvester Scout II makes up for it with a very brown color scheme that would look great at any cars and coffee or Radwood event.

That colorway–brown with gold accents–comes courtesy the limited Selective Edition package that was only available for the 1978 and ’79 model years.

Interested? Lucky for you, it’s for sale. Read more about this brown and gold Scout II over on Classic Motorsports.

Needs more mahogany in the color. And every one knows creamsicle and White is the right scout color combo.

I'm not usually a fan of brown on cars - but it works pretty well on a truck, especially a '70s off roader.
