I like that a lot........
The BMW M5 is known to many as a fantastic sports sedan. So how do you improve upon it? Shove that potent drivetrain into a wagon to create a really appealing sleeper. This 1992 BMW M5 Touring up for auction on Bring a Trailer scratches that exact itch. And best of all, it’s not the product of a third-party engine swap. This is actually one of 891 such M5 wagons created by BMW, so you wouldn’t have to live in suspicious fear of the workmanship. What would you pay for an M5 wagon?
5 series wagons in general are so cool. I'd love to M5 an E39 wagon. First, I need to win the lottery so it's the only thing I'm doing for the next two years.
$38k? I don't see the appeal at that price.
Well then you definitely won't see the appeal at the near-6-digit number it's going to close at. I'm pretty sure clean 'normal' sedan versions of this car are already going at 50k.
