The listing notes that the car features a clean title, no reported accidents and just two previous owners.

Sure, it's just the Si and not the hot VTEC model, but when's the last time you saw a del Sol this clean?

I just bought this 2003 MINI Cooper S with 12,489 miles on it.......the good finds are still out there.....I'm the third owner, too.

I can't remember the last time I saw a clean Del Sol. Hell, I haven't even seen a clapped out one in a while either.

Am I nuts or does this seems like a really good deal for an almost brand new Honda?

I wish they had pictures of the engine bay.

It does... But very limited market. People looking for a brand new Honda want one that is... Well, made in this millenium. People looking for a sports car want something better. Honda enthusiasts would rather have a CRX or an Si.

Seems like something Jay Leno would like though. Hell, I'd like it.

Why do manufacturers ruin icons after a generation or two?

Gen 1 CRX = yesyes

Gen 2 CRX = yesyesyes

Del Sol = no

Yeah, not a del Sol VTEC but bonus points for the earlier nose. Looks super clean in the photos but, yeah, why no engine photos? Let’s see that SOHC goodness.

Looks crazy clean and a fantastic lightweight chassis to work with

Back in the day, the del Sol was also your seat donor for other Civics.

I was always a fan of the molded trim style Del Sol's seats had. I'm guessing they are also lower?
