Yes, it's a coupe, and a GXP, and exceptionally low mileage, and excellent condition. But the Sky/Solsice twins are just so wretched that you couldn't pay me to own one. Cramped, uncomfortable, cheap-filling, coarse little things.

While examples of the Pontiac Solstice GXP can still be found relatively easily, how many do you see in like-new condition? This one, in particular, has just 250 miles on the clock. That's not like new, it practically is new.
That mileage averages to about 16 miles a year. Obviously, this car didn’t get driven much, and may need some recommissioning work.
Nevertheless, the GXP is unmolested and comes with a five-speed manual and a hardtop. That’s a perfect mix for some fun. If the yellow is an issue for you, Mecum also has two 2009 GXPs with less than 30 miles (yes, 30) in Hydro Blue Metallic and Ruby Red Metallic.
Find this 2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe for auction at Mecum on January 12.

I thought the Sky and Solstice were really cool. It's unfortunate that the coupe came out just in time to be taken away as both brands were scrapped. I always wondered if a Saturn analog was going to come our way if they didn't cancel them.
No reserve auction... should be interesting to see what it sells for. I'm not surprised a few were bought and put away as potential investments... Original base MSRP: $30,375 - so it would need to sell for around $45K just to match inflation - not counting options and whatever "market adjustment" the dealer may have added (never mind insurance, storage and maintenance costs...). This car (and the other two) may have been kept by the dealer... hard to know since there doesn't seem to be a lot of background info on the Mecum page.
