Yeah, I posted that to Enablers Unanimous on FB.
I want that. Hard. Re-wrapped in Gran Turismo 3 livery.
Start with a fairly benign, front-engine hatchback. Then rip out the original engine, put a larger engine where the back seats normally go and then send all that power to the rear wheels.
Sure, that was the recipe for the legendary Renault 5 Turbo, but it’s also the same recipe for this car for sale, the Renault Clio V6.
More specifically, this Clio V6 was built specifically to race in the Clio V6 Trophy Series over in Europe before being imported into the United States in May 2023.
Located in West New York, New Jersey, this 1999 Renault Clio V6 Trophy is listed at $64,995.

In reply to Duke :
If it helps, the car is currently wrapped in an old-school Marlboro livery, per the seller:
Interesting car. Too bad there is almost nothing you can race it in except maybe gridlife. So you have an odd ball car that is only good for track days with not much in the way of spares.
I'll wait a year or 2 and get the road version for the same price.

Yeah, that's what I want to take off. I want it to look like this:
That brings back memories :-)
In reply to J.A. Ackley :
I know, it's from 4 and not 3, but all the menu music songs from Gran Turismo 4 live in my head rent-free. I played it so much as a kid.

That was my first thought too
Looks like the same car (with a fresh wrap) that recently went RNM on BAT... https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1999-renault-clio-2/
Previous Clio race cars have gone for asking or better on BAT. Not sure what happened on this one, other than the market is definitely cooling off...
