What does it actually weigh?

It's a fun day when you bust out the scales.

Just under 1000 kilos dripping wet—sans driver.

No, this car doesn’t have coil-overs, so call it satisfying a curiosity. We busted the scales out to weigh our Ford Fiesta project car, so why not weigh everything as long as we’re out there?

We really had no idea where we’d stand with this one. The car has no power steering or air conditioning, but we added a roll bar and chassis bracing. With a full tank of gas, we expected more weight than this: just a couple ticks under 2200 lbs.
