Fully restored by a 16 year old in three months while attending high school. This 1985 Fiat “Bertone” X1/9 was purchased in middle of nowhere Michigan where it had a rough life, I spent two weeks cutting and replacing metal. The list of cosmetic improvements includes bumper delete, series 1 style grille and front air dam, pbs flares, flush fitted marker lights and Diamond Racing SC wheels (15” X 7” in the front with 195 45 R15 Toyo Proxie tires and 15” X 8” rear with 225 45 R15 Toyo Proxie tires and a MWB/FAZA fiberglass deck lid with duck tail and hinge points. The mechanical improvements include KYB coil overs, MWB aluminum radiator, MWB front sway bar, MWB performance racing brake pads. Engine: Fully built race engine, 2mm overboard with 11-1 compression pistons, prepped con rods, ported and polished big valve head, PBS 110S2 cam, lightened flywheel, Dual Weber 40 DCNF carbs, PBS long headers with a vibrant performance dual exit exhaust, rebuilt transmission.
