My long term plan is still to rebuild a T-50 or two, but since I have two Corollas and three T-50’s, I decided to put the best of the two in the hatchback for now. It will help finalize the engine location/angle so I can more accurately mock up other components, and if I get to the point of firing it up, I can drive it. In the meantime, I can start rebuilding the worst transmission when I get the chance, and when it is ready I can swap it in, car running yet or not. I started by cleaning off the outside of the case and made an interesting discovery under the grime….orange RTV. This transmission has been opened up at some point before I got it…Hmmm…
