2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V

My wife’s daily driver. Other than Ate slotted rotors, Hawk pads and new Kumhos, it’s bone stock. But “stock” includes nice factory items like a six-speed trans, LSD, polyurethane bushings, strut tower brace and according to Nissan, a less restrictive exhaust than a regular Sentra (or regular SE-R, for that matter). Hoping to go autocrossing soon.

If you're going to autocross it, you may want to get non-slotted rotors. I think they will bump you up out of the stock classes (probably STX if its an SCCA event). I've autocrossed my 02 a few times in the past year and its a BLAST. Autocross is a ridiculous amount of fun and, if you're classed correctly, at a local level at least, you can be competitive with a Spec. Good luck and get out there, you won't regret it.

More than competitve - I think the Spec V is the class of the G Stock field since they moved the Mini to D. Evidence: http://www.cfrsolo2.com/2010/2010_06_27_geneva_final.htm

Sadly the Sentra is no longer with us. Got t-boned by a geriatric in a beige Corolla. What a horrible way to go.
