My current project is the restoration of another GT6+ to Vintage Race. I picked it up June 7-2010 after some deliberation over “what to build”. I guess I have a thing for GT6’s. this is my 4th if you could a parts car…. I’ll post photo’s and comments as I sort the car out over the next year or so, hoping it will see the track next summer. I have a lot to do and plan to do all work myself as usual.
looks like a nice base Vince. I have a 70 as well (see my profile), plus a 71 Mk3 sitting out back that I just picked up for parts (but really don't need). If there is anything you need (parts, etc) let me know - I have decent knowledge of the car (did a frame-off rebuild) and a good amount of spares (mostly glass, gauges, etc. Or if you want an almost-complete Mk3 (no title, but the engine runs) for cheap for parts, let me know. I'm in DC area.

Hey, thanks Irish.... I can always learn more ;) and I appreciate the parts offer. How solid is the Mk 3? Why don't you build a vintage racer out of it? I'm sure you have what it takes if you've done one frame off...... Cheers.
