So far, I’m $250 for the car + $1048 in parts&shipping for my Challenge budget. I have some tough choices to make; if I go with all new parts and sell $250 worth of goods off the car (pretty easy to do with the GTX), I only have $211 left to do paint, interior and anything interesting. If I go with used parts, I get more in my budget, but since I’m planning on driving the car to Florida, I run more risk of failure during travel.
I do not want travel failure. Travel failure would be bad…
I will have to be very creative to make the car pretty for $211. I’m not feeling terribly creative at the moment. :D
I’m going to focus on getting her running. Anything past that is gravy.
