I already asked my wife, her response was " you will not be bringing the first Rolls Royce to the Challenge"
Of course you won't. The first Rolls Royce is probably in a museum somewhere. You would be bringing a much newer Rolls Royce to the Challenge.
You know, sometimes I think my clutches are slipping; I glaze over the written word, miss a zero, post something and get my beans busted, but I'm certain this WAS a $1200 Rolls.
Or is it time for some assisted living?

Well if it makes you feel better, the Renault Fuego Turbo car that I posted in a different thread for $3500 that's been on the U.P.'s craigslist for more than a month was recently reposted for $4000.

Nope. It was. And, it was barely that. It certainly isn't a $3500 car.
LOL. They figured out the magic of CL, if you want a certain price for something you don't post it at that price. You double it, and then wait for the 30-40% of asking price lowballs. When you take it, someone thinks they got a deal, and you got what you wanted for it. When I was considering selling my truck last year that was my experience. When I listed it for 2700 (what I've got in it, currently) I got ton's of offers for 1k - 1200. When I jacked it up to 4500 the "lowballs" got closer to what I wanted for it. Best offer before pulling it was 2500.
Yeah, and none of those offers come from people who've ever seen it.
