It's not mine, but this CRX might be of interest if I could get the price down some.

He says it is an Si but that didn't come out then. It might have been an S but that (I believe) wasn't until after Honda dropped the Civic name off the CRX. You should be able to talk him down a fair amount if you know what he really has,
I've found two sources (not sure of their reliability, though) that say the Si was introduced in 1985.
Confirmed. The CRX was introduced in 1984 and the Si followed in 1985. That is one sweeeeeet CRX.

Not an Si, unless it's been painted, or swapped to an Si motor. Those spoilers are tough to find though. If it runs well and looks decent, $1500 is a good deal in California. Come to think of it, WTF? The car in the photos doesn't have a sunroof.

Nope, those are most definitely 85 Si wheels. I don't see a sunroof but the picture angles aren't all that great for seeing it.
I can see the outline of a sunroof in the first picture. I guess an LCD monitor is good for something besides giving me more room on my desk to pile up E36 M3.

I thought the 1g CRX Si had the phone-dial-esque wheels with the four round holes, not these weird oblong things. My bad.

The 86 and 87 Si's did, they also had a different spoiler and flush headlights. I prefer the more "retro" look of the 85 Si myself but they seem pretty hard to come by.
