Came upon a large number of turbochargers, new-in -box, very cheaply. Looking to spread the love to some GRMers. Couple varieties, one capable of ~225hp and one capable of ~350hp. Oil cooled, so fewer lines to run, and dead-nuts reliable. Used these things for development work, just couldn't kill them. Asking $250 for the big ones, $200 for the smaller ones. I can provide data for them if that tickles your fancy. Feel free to negotiate on price, I'd love to see more boosted Challenge cars.
Ill have to measure and take more pictures tomorrow, but as I recall:
Update on the lot, took inventory this evening.
Will take a few housings off and measure wheels tomorrow, this is the lot now.
Merry Christmas everybody, hope you guys are all enjoying yourselves,
I'm interested in the used pair. When do you think you'll have measurements/pics of the compressor wheels?
In reply to bluej :
This evening for sure, possibly sooner.
If anyone interested could request dimensions for them, I'll dump all of that stuff at once later.
Can you show a picture of the High-Temp HP48? That might be a good match for my 1.8 Miata where I am just looking to provide some boost to fatten the torque curve, not looking for extreme power levels on my Spitfire project.
Sorry for the delay, here is the big data and picture dump you all were waiting on,

Got some beauties of the HP55, but didn't want to take it apart to measure. It is somewhere in between the other two. If anyone is really interested I'll pull it apart to measure.
If anyone has questions about anything including compressor maps, shoot me a message. I've whipped up some spreadsheets to calculate airflow and pressure ratio requirements based on engine parameters.
So if I am just looking to mildly boost a NB Miata 1.8 (think similar to a Mazdaspeed Miata) so I can bump up the stock HP and torque to similar levels, it would look to me that the smaller turbo would be more than sufficient to allow for quick spoolup and get me to my goals. I am not looking to make 200+ HP as it is not necessary in my car as it will weigh under 1700 pounds. Stock NB motor is 140 HP and 119 ft-lbs, my goals would be to get 185 HP and 165 ft-lbs at say 7-8 pounds of boost?
So not being a turbo expert (but i will pay for a tune and probably convert to a megasquirt ecu), what do you think the High-Temp HP48 would meet my goals?
How do you want to be paid, paypal okay?
In reply to dherr :
I think one of these would be a great fit, the map would lead me to believe it will make the power pretty easily and the wastegate should be set for 7lbs already. And yes, PayPal is ok, shoot me a message over the board so we can figure all that out.
Just ordered mine for the Spitfire project https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/build-projects-and-project-cars/rat-rod-1972-mk4-triumph-spitfire-project/132550/page1/
Also ordered a manifold and oil feed and drain lines as I have the oil pan off the engine right now and this is the time to drill and fit the drain before I test fit everything and put the engine back in the chassis.
