After all sorts of issues, I've given up on my V8-swapped M3 project. Instead, I'm going to stuff my LS1 into a 350Z, which should be way more fun.
That means I have an E36 carcass to get rid of, so let the partout begin!
What: 1997 BMW M3 Sedan (black)
Where: Ormond Beach, Florida (but I'm great at shipping)
Parts Available:
This isn't the complete list, but is most of the good stuff. As items sell, I'll delete them from the list. No, there is no drivetrain for sale. If you need something that isn't listed here, post below and I'll let you know if I have it.
Price? Make me a fair offer. As a general guide, I'm aiming for 50% of eBay prices for GRM folks.

Asking for a friend....
Robbie, thanks for looking out for me... ;)
In line behind Robbie for V-8 swap parts.
I’ve got a couple things I could use. Which stereo does it have? And which OBC? I’d also be interested in the rear deck speakers if they’re in decent shape.
Thanks!
Mmmm... heated Vaders... so tempting... although I haven't a clue what I'd put them in and my attic is already brimming with superfluous seats.
In reply to Turbine :
It has the Harmon/kardon unit with a changer in the back, seems to be in great shape too. Does that narrow it down enough? Sorry, e36 stereo isn’t my specialty. The car seems to be pretty loaded, though.
The OBC should be the good one, too. I’ll grab pictures.
In reply to Tom Suddard :
Thanks!
Unfortunately, my coupe is pretty much a zero option car, so I’m not sure if either one of those will work for me. I’ll have to check

I am 99.9% sure that 4 door cars never came with Vaders, only coupes and not all of them.
With that being said, Vaders will bolt into a 4 door e36.
You know what, crap, I just looked again and they aren't vaders. My bad! Sorry about that, I'm sure I would have noticed when I pulled them out to ship. I'm an E30 guy and haven't really played with an E36 before, so I missed this one.
So, correction, Dove Grey M3 Sedan interior for sale. Sorry about that!
Good catch, Slippery.
Hah. If anybody is interested, I’ll find a battery and power it up. I’m at PRI, hence the lack of time/effort here. Next week the car will be on eBay in a much more dissassembled state.
Is it complete shy of a drive train? I am wondering what it would take to drop a 350z engine and tranny in and have a daily driver.
Steering wheel condition? Don't need the airbag, my wheel is missing a lot of leather on the top (12 o'clock area)
How about the shifter? Just the knob (way to easy, just leave that one alone guys), again, mine just has leather damage (202k miles)
thanks,
Russ
Tom - Tried sending a PM through the Contact feature, but apparently it isn't working very well with my yahoo email account. Got kicked back. Can you shoot me a note with the diff ratio, and price shipped to 27539? Thanks! Glenn
In reply to volvoclearinghouse :
Maryland, huh? I’m headed up your way in February, and could probably drop them off.
In reply to russde :
I believe they’re both in good shape. Pictures and price with shipping can come tomorrow.
