Triumph Stag has been run three times, I am assuming the same car.  I saw it in 2005.

Grand Prix Turbo was a W body, made only  in 89-90.  Looks like in 91, the performance version of the car switched to the 3.4 DOHC from the Lumina Z34(which would be another cool rarity to show up).

Alfadriver won the $2004 autocross in his 1979 Alfa Spider, does that count?

Probably.

I was thinking 2000GTV, but those are never available for challenge money.

Does a GTV6 count?  One showed up once.  I can't remember the year, and I have a sleeping cat on me right now, so I can't go check the back issues.   I think it would have been in the 2006-2008 era.

So Alfa is out of the running.

Finding obscure marques that can be had for challenge money: harder than it seems.

I might have something.

I can't even find one for sale.

An Eagle Premier. You know- the one built by AMC in collaboration with Renault.

Come to think of it- who's got a Renault LeCar, and who's dumb enough to make an r5 out of it?

If he has a Hotshot shell at sub-$1k, I might be interested.

I can think of several marques that haven't shown up:

Mack

Freightliner

Iveco

Scania

Marmon

Etc...

I think an Iveco cabover with 100psi of boost thru the Isuzu(?) diesel would be interesting thru the cones! 😁

There is a Pontiac Solstice on the Indianapolis Craigslist for $2000. Anybody run one of those yet?
