Hi All! Taking a change of direction in life and need to thin my substantial herd. So over the next month or so I’ll be taking seeing what the GRM family wants to take off my hands. Some have been purchased from other GRM members as potential challenge projects, and are priced accordingly. Pics are awful, but I’m going to go ahead and put them up just to see if there is any interest. I’ll take more pics in the daytime tomorrow when I get home. Everything is in Tallahassee, FL, where it is going to be a ridiculous 21 deg tonight. Also, willing to talk trade, but you’ve got to take at least two of mine for one of yours (in keeping with the “thinning the herd” theme). Best way to reach me is by phone (850-339-1369, 24/7), but I’ll have internet access when I get home tomorrow afternoon. So…. here we go..
First up is a 1992 Miata. Paint is peeling, rear window torn, driver’s window taken out by the tree branch that used to be 20 feet above it. Not running currently, and I haven’t really dug into it to see what’s up. Solid body though, with no accidents. Good title. $650.
Next up is a rolling shell of a Mini. By rolling I mean it has both subframes, but left rear brake is seized, and one tire doesn’t hold air, so always fun to move around. PO cut the roof off in case someone tall like Donaldson (Hi Mike!) wanted to buzz around in it. I have a serious weakness for these as you will soon see. Anyway, roof is there, as are doors and floors. Title can be had through GA, but you will need a vin plate. Buy or I will stuff a 3.2 Acura CLS motor in the rear and kick ass at the Challenge (j/k, I think) $600.
1973 2002. Starts up with starter fluid, but brakes are totally shot. Mr. Joshua and I actually drove it onto the trailer. Surface rust in spots, but door bottoms are a bit rusty. Towers are good. Go ahead and put an S2000 motor in it. You know you want to. I did. There is glee in screwing with purist. $300. Uh, that hurt. Title through Ga.
Ok, brother Paul’s 240Z’s got to go! Other fender, engine, hood, and hatch are all stored indoors, and I’ll send pics of those to all interested. No carbs unless I find some from another project I can throw in. Damn I love the lines of a Z, but I would have loved it better in his garage and not my back yard. Not to worry, we’ll get another when I’m settled in down south. $325 plus a Chic-fil-A sandwich and a coke for everything.
1992 Acura Legend. Sweet engine, bent suspension in left front. I got new sheetmetal for it. Passenger side has dents in door, like someone with an enormous posterior leaned on it. Drove onto trailer though. A/C is great, nice sounds, comfy. Driver’s seat worse for wear. Common in these. $500 obo. Good title.
Last one until tomorrow is a rolling shell of a GTI. Think it is an ’89. Great for a Challenge at $200. Title through that great state 11 miles north of me, Georgia! I’d use it for the Challenge or rallycross or something where you can really beat the snot out of it with the engine of your choice. Take her away cause she’s blocking my sister’s Mini.
