Iv found a guy with a m5r2 5 speed 2wd trans and he wants $200 for everything. Much better idea then the 3 speed but I will have to add a master cylinder to the fire wall.
If he has any good leads on a trans im all ears im itching to get my hands dirty again!
Well give you guys an update, I got the m5r2 5 speed trans just need to pick up a flywheel and clutch.
I did work on the motor, pulled the trans and started digging into the motor. Top end was very nasty, but I found a cam bearing in the oil pan. I didn't talk about it in the video because I had no idea what it was. It was at the bottom of the oil pan under a ton of sludge. So motor is no good after all. Going to use it for mock up then part it out and toss the rest. I could rebuild but id rather find a new motor.
