In south Jersey? That doesn't sound right. a stolen car in south Jersey doesn't even roll off the tounge well.

Although I am thinking new powertrain for the GRM/CM Merc 220 project

This statement makes me think non theft recovery. Probably was totaled due to damage and the guy bought it back cheap, parted it out some and just wants it out of his garage. Seems to me well worth $1200

"There are also many computer parts available" usually means that while the engine and transmission work great, I'm going to charge extra for the parts to actually get them running.

If someone here buys it to part, I'll take the wheels. My dad has an '01 S500, and the PO put some awful chrome 20"s on it. I'd love to have the stock wheels, the cooling fan motor and belt, and the right rear air strut.

It says the wheels aren't included
