It's certainly clean looking, but what is the goal of this car other than building something completely weird? Is it a drag car? Assuming it gets put together will it even be fast?

I was a bit boggled by the motor choice for the same reasons. It would seem for the same money it could have a 5.3 ls in it? Digging the disco gold though...

That's so awesome. Plus you could drop an ls in if you wanted to and keep the trans.

Because a 4.3 is 3/4 a 350 it should make 3/4 the horsepower for 3/4 the price!

So a quick trip down wiki lane says 150 hp for the 4.3. This would make it spunky (vr6gti style) but not quite a ball of fire.

I thought the "good" Vortec 4.3s were 190-200hp to start with? (assuming those valve covers are correct)

Its got a lot of work done to it, and 4.3s can make good power, especially with those heads. Then again, 750cfm seems like way overkill for that motor.

My injected Astro is rated at 190 HP. Even at 150 the engine would have so much more torque than the Toyota 4 cylinder.

thats gotta be one of the cleaner project cars i've seen, hell the wheels are atleast worth half of the 3k afaik. good gawd im so lucky i dont have 3k, swimbo would murder me
