My 88 Impulse Turbo, lotus handling, 5 spd; see it in readers' rides. Ran great until it lost oil pressure today, think it just needs a pump but I am done with this car. Everything works but the radio, that includes the auto belts and A/C.
New Parts (within last 1500miles): Timing belt, water pump, cat, wheel bearings, tires, brake pads, rear shocks, swaybar endlinks. Brand new master cylinder uninstalled, still in box.
Very little rust, will get more pics as soon as I can (don't own a digital camera). Has a different intercooler, original will be included along with a factory service manual. Happy to trade for nearly anything that runs and has 3 pedals.
Located in Bethlehem, PA

A bit far and I'm buying a house this month. Plus it had better be museum quality for a grand with no oil pressure. That said if its around in a month I'd seriously consider it for a project I have in the back of my head. Got more pics?
Well, the price is negotiable, and if it's still around in a month even more so. I should have more pictures later this week.

If you heard evil laughter for a moment, that was me. Pay it no mind. Nothing to see here. Move along.
What's in readers' rides is all I have for now, should have more by this weekend (I am broke and don't own a digital camera)

Would have to be delivered and +cash on your end. The body isn't great but I just picked up a 5 speed for it.

I live near Allentown, so I'm pretty close to you. Does the car have PA inspection stickers on it? Would it be able to pass once the pump is fixed? Would it be ready for an HPDE day?
Has a current inspection good until 3/11. If you fixed the engine it would probably be fine for an HPDE, I wouldn't have hesitated to take it to one before the oil pressure issue.
I can't believe nobody's jumped on this. Those are such cool cars, and rare as mutton chops these days.
You could even get a V8 in there for challenge money if you don't want to deal with a million miles of '80s vacuum lines.
No closing date in sight means no go for me. Why junk it? Certainly you can find someone to pay the $250 a yard would give you for it.
Already did through Isuzone, thank god because I didn't want to scrap it but just don't have the space to keep it.
