Our Lemons Team just picked up a car on Saturday, unfortunately before we saw this.
We almost want to get it and run it as is (one wing, etc.) but with the necessary mechanicals fixed.
Homebuilt 89 "Batman Returns" type batmobile on an extended and widened 1983 Riveria chassis. It must be picked up by this coming thursday at the latest. The vehicle is about 22 feet long, and just under 8 feet wide. It has center console steering for the driver , and would hold 2 adult passengers in the back seat. The body is about 90% complete but needs considerable smoothing, and the rear left fin isn't formed yet at all. Lots of do it yourself work will need to be done! The motor and tranny are good, and the vehicle was last run in decfember of 09. Since then I removed the gas tank and changed the gas intake pipe on the tank, the brake lines aren't extended yet, and the steering knuckle needs to be reattached. This is a project car, but the outer shell is mostly there. Some warping occured from heat buildup during molding a few months ago. I am moving in 1 week, and won't have any place to work on it in texas. The inside is gutted, and will need to be formed and built. All the guages , and the power windows work fine at this time. PS: The gatteling gun shown has 8 small electric motors built onto it, the unit is partially complete also. I does currently raise and lower, the barrel unit will rotate left and right about 15 degrees, the barrel unit will raise and lower anout 15 degrees, and the barrel set will spin.... IT DOES NOT FIRE,,,, IT WILL NEED TO BE LOCKED IN PLACE TO RAISE AND LOWER FROM THE RIGHT FRONT FENDER BY THE RIGHT WINDSHIELD. The car will need windsheilds also...plastic or glass you decide....
