Clean-looking Impulse RS

Just how nightmare-ish are these, really? They look awesome on paper. AWD, Turbo, 2700lbs, helical center diff, viscous front and rear diffs, Lotus suspension.

Can they make an honest 200-250awhp and hold together in a daily driven scenario?

It's not great, from what i understand, which is why i'm really wondering just how well it would hold together. I'm reasonably sure that what's wrong with it isn't a big deal, and worst case scenario, could be solved with a Megasquirt install.

I'm over the whole KLZE-in-a-BG thing. MZR is the new hotness, or i'd rather a nicely done BP at this point.

$750 is kindof a lot of money for a KLZE unless it comes with a full harness, all accessories, is verified for having the KL31 cams, and has an ECU and trans with it.

Yeah $750 is pretty steep for a ZE, i picked up this whole car for 1/3 of that, i wanted the JDM body parts off it. The PO said it jumped time and bent valves, unknown to me they are non interference... I ended up fixing it and run the wheels off it before selling it to one of Bens friends so I could pick up my MR2

Having owned a 1st gen Impulse Turbo, these scare the E36 M3 out of me. I live 15 minutes from this thing if someone needs me to go look at it though...

the engine i know of does include harness and ecu. I have a running bpt (which i enjoy) the problem is having the spare shell in need of a heart and the possibility of having 2 different flavors (or more, hence the volvo 240 kick i've been on and the impulse being intriquing as well). I really shouldn't pick up said KL or the impulse, i need to be an enabler at this point opposed to being enabled. Unless it's a running manual 5.0 explorer i shouldn't allow myself to be tempted.

Enough Mazda talk. I want this. Who wants an Accord?
