You know, I saw that very car a few days ago and nearly posted it here as well.
LSx swap time. IIRC, from vazbmw's 530 touring LS swap thread, the GTO donor and fabbed parts cost less than a ZF AT from a reputable rebuilder.
And I actually have an LS2 and T56 sitting in the garage. It kills me to pass this one up.
Honestly though, if I get an E38, it will be the unicorn 2001 iL sport.
