Not mine. Back before Vetter and they became a Barcolounger 1000, they were just motorcycles with weird engines.

Man, that's cool.

It reminds me slightly of my Uncle's old Kawasaki Z900s.

Darned if there isn't a site for everything. Naked Goldwings!

I'll bet those carbs aren't the easiest things to overhaul, but that's a nice bike at a good price. and low miles for a GW.

Normally I would tell you a story about my friend Vern and his early Goldwing failing from his 450+lb weight at speed... but I told him I would not embarass him with the story any more... I guess I said a bit too much huh?

Failed, like the frame broke.

Mind you it was an EXTREMELY high mileage Michigan bike.

Is the chunk of wood under the kick stand to make the bike stand up straighter in the pic to make it easier to see, or did the guy put the wrong size kick stand on it and it will fall over without it? (I know absolutely nothing about motorcycles, so these were the only possibilities I could come up with).

Thanks, Bob

That's the correct kick stand, they do lean over quite a bit. I'm lowering mine 2" so I may have to buzz off some stand.
