Asking $500. 1987 CRX HF.
Well, I've had so much fun driving for other people this year that I think it's time to try to find a new home for the Chevonda. It's the Quad4 powered CRX built by LuK motorsports and owned by Pub Burgers and Eastsidemav on this forum prior to my purchase and racing. It's been sitting for over two years now and that's a sad situation for a race car. It was fast and braked and handled well when we ran it at Nelson Ledges but the motor went lean due to a fuel filter delete and spun a rod bearing. I have a good block on hand that comes with the car. I do not know if the head is good. In addition to the head that's in the car there is a spare warped head on hand that goes with it. The block and cooling system in there has been full of pure water for 2 years so it'll need a thorough going-through.
For details on the build you can refer to both the original builder's web site:

and to eastsidemav's sale page where I bought it:

Since then the major changes were, off the top of my head: -added second door bar to meet 2009 Lemons rules -added SFI roll bar padding to meet Lemons rules -reinstalled stock fuel tank and ran new fuel feed line installed inside metal conduit -Installed race pads - I believe they're Porterfield R4s -Track-side expedient installed some nasty driving lights since Nelson Ledges was so dark. This means the plastic front nose panel is a bit cut up, sloppily. -Added DOM tubing bumper bar so the bumper is more than just a plastic cover. This fits inside the plastic cover. -Added half-assed castle theme when we ran out of time to do the whole thing
Spares on hand: -Extra front fenders -Extra good block, bad head -Diamond racing wheels no tires -Extra CRX HF back axle (steel, not aluminum) -Extra front wheel bearings -Anything else I can dig up will go with it, I'm in a cleaning out the garage mood!!!
To meet the 2012 Lemons rules you would need to enlarge the spreader plates (material to do so is on hand and goes with the car if you want it) and weld up the bolt-in sleeves. Beyond 2012 I have no idea if bolt-in cages modified like this will pass tech, they've been getting pickier about them. The kill switch is in a good spot to pass 2012 tech. As far as I know only the cage modifications would need to be done to pass tech, of course that's in addition to getting it running.
The car does NOT come with the pictured wheels for this price, though those are available. It comes with a set of steels with roller-grade tires. The available wheels are (4) 15" Pontiac Sunfire and (4) 15" Nissan SE-R wheels with Falken Azenis 615k tires that are from late 2009. They've been sitting so might not be ideal for a Lemons race but there's two full sets, one with zero miles and one with 4 hours of track time. Those would be available with the car for an additional $500. (All eight wheels and tires.)
Again, starting the car at $500 with all spares on steelies, the wheels and tires are $500 extra.
