Solid, rust-free car worth saving. 5spd manual, 1.8L 8V, factory sunroof. No spark & I can't seem to fix it.

Nope. Been there, tried that. I can't figure it out,
ign rotor has a resistor in it IIRC that can go bad.
did you swap the distributor? They go bad all the time.
