WTB: Oil pump for 85 GTI

I think i'm finally ready to fix the wife's GTI. I'm in need of a working oil pump for an 8 valve 85 Golf GTI. Anyone have one laying around?

I have one from an '83 GTI 8V. Think they're the same?

I don't know my VW's particularly well but some quick looking i'm getting different parts numbers between the 83 and 85. Anyone with more knowledge care to chime in?

Check Rock Auto's cross reference.

Not worth it to go used. Get a new one. Don't risk a weak replacement pump.
