I do wonder how does it get sufficient air flow through the radiator sandwiched between the back of the seat and the engine? Exhaust manifold is right up against it, too.
Maybe heat was a factor in the death of the tranny.
I'd terrorize downtown dc with that. Although I probably got myself on a watch list with that statement. Again. 
That is closer than I'd like, but getting and keeping it going is outside my current motivation level.
