R53 Cooper S in Columbus Ohio, Solid car, decent rubber. Blown head gasket, slight overheat. Battery dead and I want it out of my driveway. 2003 model year, no sunroof, 6 speed manual, red.

Would make a fantastic parts car for an SCCA road race car, a 2018 challenge project, Future autocross car, or the like. Would love to see some part of this have a future in motor sports.
Cell is 614-264-6754. All offers welcome. bring a trailer.
Wow, that is cheap. What part of Columbus?

Chris, I shared this with my friend Neil who's very interested. Can you contact him? You can pm me for details.
I've been thinking about getting a Cooper S for rallycross/daily but I really don't need an 8th car right now. If it somehow doesn't sell soon I may be interested.
It's a good thing you're far enough away that I don't feel like messing with it. I would regret buying a modern mini anyway.
I'm very tempted, but getting it here would be a pain. Still.....
I'm waiting on pica. Has anyone gone to see it?

Car has been sold to a forum member who will utilize it for autocross. Glad to see it have a future in Motorsports.

Y'all snoozed too long, I picked it up this afternoon. Couldn't ask for a more gracious seller, he even used his AAA towing coverage to move it to my buddies house on the north side of Columbus. Saved me from dragging a trailer 140 miles for a 15 mile move and yes, it will be dodging cones next season.
Thanks Chris !
Awesome! I was tempted but I have way too much going on.
At that price, we had better see a build thread.

Do you happen to know why the headgasket blew and the resultant overheating? Any chance the water pump stopped turning (a common problem)? Just asking so Mark57 has a leg up on the repairs.

I'm still trying to finish up all of our fall generator service contracts before the snow flies so I had the Mini dropped at a friends house in Columbus who is a BMW tech. Should have a better idea by the end of the week whether it is the head gasket and if so, what caused the failure.
