If that steering rack is mounted in position, then that is an interesting approach angle for the steering column.

What is going on with your shop?  Seriously can you at least throw a misplaced coffee cup or random tool out there, you're making me feel bad.

I'm adding more lights to my shop and was concerned about adding too many fixtures, based on what I see here it will be fine.  

Great project, carry on. 

You'll definitely want to check the steering geometry before going too far down that road.

Flaming River sells a 90 deg device that might actually make that rack input angle work reasonably well with the OE Volvo column shaft.

Just loosely mounted. Still need to adjust the output pitch 

Engine bay painted with a single stage system because its much easier to repair a scratch if needed.

Baking in the booth at 80 degrees

Regatta Blue is the choice of color. Used Sprint H79 clear. Sprayed 2 coats....cured 24 hours...wet sand 600 .... applied 2 more wet coats of clear.

The fuel delivery will be through the rear deck lid as the Cyan Volvo was constructed.
