Forgot to weigh the trailer empty, Charlie, on trailer weighs in at just under 9000 lbs. truck with tools, clothes... and two dogs- comes in at 8500. With weak trailer breaks! Tongue weight is a bit low, also, but it’s a great towing trailer, and is doing fine.

Good God, it is big, though.
Understatement of the day. This is a behemoth of a truck. Again for posterity's sake, the top of the hood is about 6 feet up.

something she never said to me.
i love this truck, and cant help but to pucture it on 37-39s
Someone earlier in the thread mentioned Hummer wheels. There's a place here that specializes in Hummer 37 inch takeoffs. I got the tires for $100 each but since they consider the wheels a waste product they might be willing to so a deal if they don't have to take the tires off the wheels.
16.5 rims are easier to find in OBS pattern. By the time you replace H1 wheel centers, or find rims that fit, i hear it can get pretty pricey. 99 to 04 metric only come in 16 (except for special edition 04’s). And 05 up have too much backspace.
36 - 37 is def. what it needs.
Later than we had hoped, but I hope Charlie is glad to be in Alabama. Him, Big Red, and the two furry kids all faired well! Me and my better half, ... eh, at least we’ll live.
Well done team! This is how legends are made, glad everyone home safe and sound.
Haven’t done anything but unload off trailer, and buy another parts truck... yep. Just what I needed...
Rough as a cob, but all original parts come with... including original rims with tires... probably for the late 50’s!
deal on parts truck fell through... might be a good thing!
