Very nice to see someone doing something with those Milly S blowers.

Believe it or not, those things are shooting 30 psi out at stock boost on the S.

Well, the big reason in general is it's a ~210 hp engine with a blower more or less sized to match. The amount of boost a blower can make vs the amount of air it can flow are different things. What the stock boost level DOES tell you is that the blower is capable of doing that kind of PR without being so internally leaky or hot-running that it defeats the purpose.

In general I don't think most people doing custom supercharger setups are ok with the power ceiling of the small blower, but Millenia S power (plus a little bit) in a 944 is more or less stock 944 turbo power but with conceivably earlier onset and smoother delivery.

I think those looking into a Milli Supercharger like this are more concerned with the cheap price and efficiency versus other types of blowers. Far more palatable to pull one for $100 a pick-a-part and try to fix and adapt it than buying a $3,000 kit.

Resurrecting this thread, any update? I too have one of those guys lost in my closet and would not mind making use of it.

The pictures showing more serious tearing down of one of them are great. If you have more, please post them!

I have noticed they have become rather hard to find.

I'm still baffled that the OP was able to find 3 in the same junkyard, I haven't seen 3 Millenias on the road in a decade or more.

I understand your point. I do not think I have ever seen one in the wild or in a yard. The SC I have I got off ebay before the prices doubled.
