SCCA says all cars must have a bumper looking part if it's integrated with the body lines.

Pete the competitor says that Lancia ran these cars without a bumper for years in competition trim so it's valid.  Also it looks rad.

This is rad. I didn't even realize US Lancias were a thing. 😲

Glad to see this still moving forward. What a cool car.
