Bent up some more tubing for the cage and made some progress on a floor patch panel

Very nice work! If you are interested in putting in camber plates, I have a set of weld in plates I made for Z-Cars, They are about 5" in outside Diameter, so unless you want to go crazy with caster, they will work fine. LMK, I can make you a good deal on them.

Cage is done

Fun job so far, I'm a huge fan of mini-wagons, but that cage is breaking my heart. ALL of that work and money and not legal for any racing sanctioning body. Should have researched the specs and images and built it to the class rather than just throw tubing around and welding it where it landed. You're usually much more conscientious than this . . . ! !
What are some classes that allow this engine in this car?

The cage in the car is just to make it safer with sufficient room to be a daily driver. There are no tracks even remotely close to here, as such, it is not being built to fit into any class. Just a street toy.
Especially amusing because I've been eyeballing a Japanese turbo six cylinder for my bright orange domestic wagon... pretty much the evil twin of this project.

The crossover pipe from the 240sx LS kit has been reconfigured. The wastegates are in. The turbo is on with oil feed line attached. The oil pan is drilled and tapped with oil return line plumbed. The intake is on. Getting close to firing it up!
